The tree has been specially selected for excellent fit on these flat backed, wide horses for superior stability and comfort for both the horses and riders.

Icelandic horses typically have a very short rib cage in relation to their body size making it difficult to get saddles to fit without damaging them especially if their riders have very long legs. The Icy Comfort saddles are made with this in mind and typically have a 16” panel footprint on the horse and a 17” seat for the rider, this is achieved by our specialist trees.
