For all our saddles we offer a trial period, even if they are second hand. We like to provide you with a saddle on the day, no one contacts us because they need a saddle in 4 to 6 weeks, most contact us as they have a saddle which does not fit or they do not have a saddle to ride in hence they need one asap .

If you choose a saddle you would like to buy the saddle is paid in full, you can then commence your saddle trial. Sometimes what you buy on the day is not the saddle you ultimately keep .

Our traditional brands have a 14 day trial period and ReactorPanel 4 weeks ( subject to a £25 a week saddle hire charge) , we would like you to ride in the saddle as much as possible and make sure it is what you need, then let us know within the trial period if you would like something special made, this gives us time to have the saddle made and return to you, free of charge with the perfect saddle on our next trip to the area which is usually within one month .

In the unlikely event of a warranty claim, replacement or repair will be carried out free of charge, on proof of purchase and acceptance or examination by a member of Saddle Exchange .

Any repairs or alterations carried out by third parties and not authorised will automatically cancel this warranty.

For Accessory Orders We can take payment in either British Pounds Sterling or Euros. However web ordering only works in the UK at present, so if you would like to order from outside the UK please call the office for a shipping quote and to arrange for payment.

Only the Saddle Exchange Saddling Solutions Accredited Fitters and Retail Partners listed here are approved by us to fit and sell our products, Do not accept anyone else who claims to be qualified to fit them. Accredited Fitters and Retail Partners undertake a long apprenticeship and are required to undertake ongoing learning in order to retain the required standard of fitting that our specialist saddles require. As with anything related to horses saddle fitting is an ongoing learning process and we are all constantly evolving, sharing best practice and perfecting our products and the ways in which they are fitted as we experience more fitting challenges. All riders and their equines are of course unique.

In addition to our Locally based saddle fitters we also have our local co-ordinators. These are customers of our who have lots of parking for horse boxes/lorries and a menage and are happy to share their facilities with other customers for saddle fitting, great if you don’t have facilities yourself .

If you would like to have your saddle checked or try something new our Co-Ordinators also offer a cost effective option as the travel charge is shared. For example, Dean and Gini’s normal callout £120, so £120 for one person, £60 each for 2 or £45 per horse for 3 and above ( agents usually charge a bit less) .

We also try our best to visit our Co-Ordinator’s yards at least once a month.
