Introducing the new Comfort Elite Coblet Saddle designed together with our friends Lucy and Dennis from the Coblet Clothing line. It all begin with an idea, Lucy has used our saddles on her Coblets for many years and as we have owned cobs ourselves, are well known for fitting these little short backed horses and with over the last 30 years of experience fitting them that adds up to a lot of Coblets.

So what are our customers mainly looking for? A well designed saddle which fits a wide , short, straight back, forward girth groove and usually quite a bit of excess … flesh 🤦‍♀️😂

These little guys often have a very short back and big shoulders so often we are making overshot seats to accommodate the riders if they need a bigger seat than the Colbet’s short back can accommodate and this an option on the new Coblet Saddles, the saddle has a deeper secure seat and straighter cut flap to show off the shoulder.

The saddle also gives an extra feeling of security with an extra padded knee and thigh pad inspired by one of our most secure endurance saddles but is also available with a more minimal pad for showing at higher levels . They also come with our 4 well placed girthing straps which are usual for our Native Pony Saddle Company, Pony saddle Company and Comfort Saddles which allow for optimal placement in a number of different girth grooves and a number of tree options to suit most back shapes. The saddle also has removable , Velcro knee and thigh blocks for versatility.

The saddles are available in deep, luxurious Havana brown or black, with either suede seat and knee pads or plain leather. They are available from 16” seat to 7.5’ as standard and can be made as small as 13” ( with overshot) or as large as 18.5’ and are also available with coloured leather, piping, stitching or bling. .
